Human Factors of Mobile Augmented Reality: INCOSE RIG
Yesterday we presented some of our research and development activities in the area of Mobile Augmented Reality at the INCOSE RIG in London.
Over the past few months we have been working in conjunction with Reality Applications to investigate mobile augmented re development methodologies that can ‘build in’ user needs, ergonomics, and usability from the outset.
Innovative technologies such as mobile AR have a lot of offer safety-related industries if the potential barriers to implementation (such as safety and user acceptance) can be overcome.
Based on user research, we are developing a set of lightweight frameworks and guidelines for mobile AR development in safety-related industries.
