This course will show you how to integrate your Human Factors Engineering knowledge and skills into the design and development of systems.You will need to have completed the course ‘
Human Factors Theory and Practice‘ in order to take this course, or have equivalent experience.Please contact the course Instructor if you believe you have sufficient background knowledge to tackle this course.At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Understand the ‘Human Factors Integration’ basis for the design and development of systems
- Utilise a systems approach to the human aspects of the specification, design, assessment and acceptance of products, services and human factors interventions
- Understand the requirements for safety systems, the concepts of risk, risk assessment and risk management
- Supervises the application and evaluation of an Human Factors Integration Plan
This course has three assignments that should take you 2-3 hours each to complete. The assignments will be marked and reviewed by the Instructor, who will give you feedback on your progress. A pass mark is required on each assignment before the course can be completed.Each module also has an ‘open book’ test which requires an 80% pass mark in order to proceed to the next stage of the course.At the end of the course, a certificate of completion (endorsed by Liv Systems) will be awarded.
