Write a brief description of the background of your project. Clearly state the problem in HFE terms.

Go on to write down the aims of your project – also in HF terms. What would the situation look like for the end users at the end of the project?

Lastly, define the scope of the project. For example, does your project only relate to a particular part of the organisation, or only to a particular set of users or tasks?
